Hole #10 Project Pictorial
July 24, 2009
Hole #10 will return to full play as a par 4 on Friday July 24th at 11:00am. There will be a quote - ribbon cutting that will entail a couple of celebrity groups playing the hole to officaily reopen. Lots of pictures and food of course.
The hole will then be open for normal play. Groups playing earlier in the morning will play the par 3 green. The flag will be removed after 11:00 am and it will remain as ground under repair until we bring the fairway back to normal operation.
Cedarhill Golf & Country Club began a renovation project in the fall of 2008 on Hole #10. A full temporary green was constructed and the hole will play as a par 3 to start the season.
July 1st - The grow in process is going well. The new green has been rolled, received its first cut and top dressed. The roughs and fairways will be gradually cut down after another 10 days to promote better root growth. (No date yet but we are getting closer to an announcement)
June 27th - The last installment of this project in pictures. The sod work has been completed. Grow in, cleanup and maintenance will be ongoing until opening.
We expect to announce a tentative date shortly!
