Cedarhill Team Announcement

We are very pleased to welcome two dynamic new members to the Cedarhill Team!

Miranda Boyer joins us as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. Miranda graduated from Algonquin’s Culinary Management program and also holds a post-graduate diploma in Event Management and is certified by the Wedding Planner Institute of Canada. She grew up in the Cedarhill area after moving to Ottawa from North Bay, and has worked at several banquet facilities in the area. Miranda is looking forward to a successful and exciting first season at the club!

Dan Halliday joins us as Sous Chef. Dan has 34 years of experience working in the restaurant business. Dan spent a few years working at the Calgary Golf & Country Club as Chef Saucier were he became a Chef de Cuisine. One of the first 200 in Canada. In subsequent years Dan worked at other golf courses like Willow Park GC and Bearspaw Country Club. Dan continued working in the restaurant business and most recently comes to us from Pepper Garden Bistro. Dan was working for us part time over the last few years and has accepted this position in support of our Executive Chef Nathalie Lortie.
